Central Chandigarh, comprising sectors 5, 9, 17, and 35, is among the most prominent and renowned real estate zones in the region. Sectors 5 and 9 especially are expensive and are dominated by low-density residential properties, government residences, and premium villas. Property in these sectors is extremely limited. Sector 17, on the other hand, is an attraction in itself. It has developed as the city’s primary commercial and retail district, while Sector 35 has developed as a residential region.
