The Food Standards Agency has urged consumers not to eat the recalled products. Consuming food contaminated with salmonella can lead to symptoms such as fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps. “If you are experiencing these symptoms, you should stay away from work, school or nursery until you have stopped having symptoms for at least 48 hours to avoid passing it on to others,” the agency warned.In the notice, the company has asked people who bought the recalled item to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. “Consumers should return the product to their store for a full refund if they have already purchased this use-by date of product.
