ALWAR: At least seven workers died after a massive fire broke out at a chemical plant in the Bhiwadi industrial area of Rajasthan’s Alwar district on Monday. At least 10 workers are feared trapped inside the factory, sources said. The fire broke out in Bhiwadi’s Khushkhera-Karoli industrial area. Officials said police learned about the incident during a routine patrol, following which a rescue operation was launched immediately. Several fire tenders have been pressed into service to douse the blaze and carry out rescue operations.
