Health minister hands over job letters to 66 medical professionals | Ranchi News

Ranchi: State health minister Irfan Ansari on Thursday handed job letters to 66 doctors including 33 medical officers and 33 specialist medical officers appointed on contractual basis at a formal ceremony in Ranchi. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the department is planning to rope in around 10,000 more hands in the health sector.He said, “The large-scale recruitment drive is aimed at strengthening healthcare services across the state and ensure availability of skilled professionals at all levels.” The minister underlined that the recruitment process would continue without interruption. “The appointments would help bridge the gap in manpower and enhance service delivery in govt hospitals and health institutions,” Ansari added.He also highlighted that all medical colleges in the state would be made fully functional within the next three years and directed all civil surgeons to submit updated lists of vacant posts to fast track the recruitment process.“The govt will set up a central command and control centre at the health department as well as at the minister’s residence for proper monitoring,” he said.Ansari also informed that the govt has approved Rs 9 crore for the installation of blood separation unit machines in all districts. “A bone marrow transplant unit for sickle cell anaemia, thalassaemia and aplastic anaemia will soon be established at Ranchi Sadar Hospital,” he further added.“Seven ultra-modern diagnostic laboratories will be established across the state and plans are afoot to connect medical colleges with AI-based, robotic and smart health systems,” the minister said.
