Haryana RTE admission 2026: The Directorate of Elementary Education, Government of Haryana, has initiated a document verification drive for applicants seeking admission under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009 for the academic session 2026-27. The move follows scrutiny of registration data submitted by parents and applicants during the admission process.According to an official notice issued by the department, the verification process is being conducted at the level of Block Level Education Officers (BEOs) through designated committees constituted specifically for RTE admissions. Authorities stated that verification of submitted information is essential to validate each application.Verification conducted at block level committeesThe department stated that Block Level Committees have been assigned the responsibility to examine original documents submitted during registration. These committees are functioning under the supervision of BEOs to ensure uniformity and accuracy in the process.While doing the initial analysis, it was found that many applicants and their parents failed to turn up for verification in front of the concerned committees. This problem has been stated as a major issue during the current admission process.Compulsory compliance for all applicantsIt is very much evident from the notice that verification of the document is mandatory for all the applicants seeking admission under the RTE Act. Applicants and parents should report personally to the concerned Block Level Committee.Failure to comply with the verification requirement will lead to rejection of the application. The department has stated that such rejection will be carried out without any further notice to the applicant or parent concerned.Moreover, it has been clarified by the authorities that no application for admission through the RTE Act will be entertained if the verification procedure is not completed successfully.Verification schedule and directionsThe department has fixed the schedule of the verification process for the convenience of applicants. The document verification process is taking place from 22nd April 2026 to 24th April 2026.It has been directed to all applicants to comply with the schedule and provide all relevant documents during the verification process.
