Hulk Hogan and Linda Hogan split in 2009 after being together for 26 years. According to the doc-series, Linda filed for divorce in 2007 after Hogan’s affair came to light. The divorce was a major downfall for Hogan personally and financially. In the settlement, Linda received arounf 70% of liquid assets and 40% of ownership in Hogan’s companies. The WWE legend revealed in the Netflix series that he was broke before tenure with TNA saved him. He said,“After the divorce, I had no money. I was broke. And so TNA saved me.”
Did Hulk Hogan speak about his life-threatening addictions?
Hulk Hogan was brought into TNA as an active wrestler, despite being in no prime shape for in-ring action. This led him to take a fatal amount of fentanyl to manage the pain. He said, “I was taking 80-milligram fentanyls, two in the morning, stuffing them under my gums here … I had two 300mg patches of fentanyl on my legs and they gave me six 1500mg fentanyl lollipops to eat.” Furthermore, during a visit to a pharmacy, the person there said that Hogan should have been dead for the amount of the fentanyl he took at that time.“I went to the pharmacy, he goes, ‘You should be dead. We have never seen a human being take this much fentanyl.”

On the morning of July 24, 2025, Hulk Hogan suffered a heart attack and passed away in front of his family in his home in Clearwater, Florida. His memorial service was attended by several notable names like Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and others from the wrestling world.
