Instead of handling shipments separately at different stages, the plan connects ports with inland logistics networks, which is expected to cut transit time and reduce delays. It will offer direct connectivity between Sharjah and Dammam, allow goods to move across multiple transport modes more easily, and speed up cross-border cargo handling.
