NEW DELHI: At least five people were killed and four others injured after their SUV car crashed into a tree in Agra’s Chitrahata area on Thursday night.The victims were returning from Kaila Devi Temple, the injured were taken to a hospital for treatment.The incident took place around 10 pm in the Chitrahata police station area when the vehicle lost control and rammed into a tree.DCP East Abhishek Agarwal said, “On March 19, around 10 pm, police received information that a vehicle had collided with a tree in the Chitrahata police station area. Police immediately reached the spot. In this incident, 5 people died, and 4 were injured, who have been sent to the hospital. Postmortem proceedings are underway. The driver had fallen asleep which caused this accident.
