The trailer of the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Bhishmar’ has been officially released. The film is directed by East Coast Vijayan and stars Dhyan Sreenivasan and Vishnu Unnikrishnan in the lead roles.
First collaboration for Dhyan Sreenivasan and Vishnu Unnikrishnan
‘Bhishmar’ marks the first time Dhyan Sreenivasan and Vishnu Unnikrishnan are sharing screen space in lead roles and the film is described as a “musical romantic family fun-filled thriller.” The project also marks a reunion between director East Coast Vijayan and Vishnu Unnikrishnan and the duo had earlier worked together in the film Kallanum Bhagavathiyum’.
Large ensemble cast in key roles
Apart from the lead actors, the film features a large supporting cast. The movie stars Divya Pillai and Ammayraa Goswami as the female leads.

‘Bhishmar’ is the eighth film produced under the banner East Coast Communications and the story of the film is written by Ansaj Gopi. The cinematography is handled by Ratheesh Ram, while the editing is done by Johnkutty.The music and background score are composed by Ranjin Raj. The song “Paalnila Punchiri” is composed by K. A. Latheef. The lyrics of the songs are written by B. K. Harinarayanan, Santhosh Varma, and O. M. Karuvarakkundu.Boban serves as the art director, while Manjusha Radhakrishnan handles costumes. Makeup is done by Salam Arookutty.Action sequences are choreographed by Phoenix Prabhu and Mafia Sasi. The shooting of ‘Bhishmar’ was completed in a single schedule of 42 days. The film was shot in and around Palakkad.After the trailer release, many viewers shared their reactions online. One viewer commented: “Dhyan Hope this movie becomes a big success.” Another user wrote: “Action hero Dhyan Sreenivasan.” A third viewer added: “Hope it becomes a good success.”The film is distributed by Dream Big Films. It is scheduled to hit theatres on March 20.
