Jr NTR will be next seen in the upcoming action drama film with Prashanth Neel, tentatively named ‘NTRNEEL’ and also said to be called ‘Dragon’. The film is currently in the production phase, and according to the latest report, the makers will be setting their next shoot in Jordan.According to Gulte, the makers are currently planning to shoot three action sequences in February 2026. It is also expected that the schedule will be shot in Jordan for the month. However, an official confirmation from the team is yet to be made.
Shooting locations of ‘Dragon’
The makers seem to be indulging multiple international shoots, as earlier in December last year, another report by Moneycontrol Prashanth Neel did a location recce in Africa. It also suggested that the filmmaker picked some important locations from the action sequences.Speaking of action sequences, reports in December in the industry also indicated that the ‘RRR’ star will be performing some of his stunts by himself. He will not be using body doubles. These are said to be far riskier than the superstar has ever performed before.
Cast of ‘Dragon’
Speaking more about the film, it is set to feature ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ star Rukmini Vasanth playing the female lead. On the other hand, Bollywood’s legendary actor Anil Kapoor is also set to star with Jr NTR for the second time, after ‘War 2’. It is also expected to include Tovino Thomas in a key role.

This movie marks the first collaboration between Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel, who is known for massy action drama films which have an enormours world buidling in their own. Like his previous ‘KGF’ franchise and ‘Salaar’, the filmmaker is set to make another larger-than-life story in this coming project.The makers had earlier announced that the film would be released on June 25, 2026, but they haven’t shared any frequent updates regarding making fans specualating whetever it will eventually get delayed.
